Welcome to Healthcare Compliance Resources! It is my pleasure to inform you that Healthcare Compliance Resources, an affiliate of Woods Rogers Consulting, is celebrating over twenty years as southwest Virginia’s premier source for effective OSHA and HIPAA consulting services.

Back in 1994, Healthcare Compliance Resources (HCR) specialized in assisting the healthcare industry in complying with OSHA, EPA (DEQ) and JCAHO. Since our merger with Woods Rogers Consulting in 2008, we have broadened our scope of services to include industrial facilities and manufacturing plants. We continue to offer detailed information to aid healthcare facilities, be it a hospital, long-term care facility, medical office, dental practice, public health department, or a mortuary, in compliance with the myriad of government regulations. We have expanded our capabilities to assist all employers in meeting the requirements of the various government regulatory compliance programs.

HCR provides consulting services which include on-site training, managerial compliance seminars, and written regulatory programs mandated by OSHA and/or HIPAA. Our seminars, always in conjunction with an Attorney from Woods Rogers PLC, include such pertinent topics as Social Media in the Workplace, Legal Issues of Employee Handbooks, Violence in the Workplace, and the Affordable Care Act.

The information we provide and the regulations we follow change frequently. I personally spent over 40 years in healthcare administration, mostly dealing with OSHA, CMS, DEQ/EPA and the JCAHO, I have become very accustomed to change. Our motto has always been “beyond compliance” and our goal is to provide timely, courteous, and professional consultative services to employers and their employees so that they may recognize and control workplace hazards and prevent injuries, illnesses, fatalities, and governmental citations.
